About Us
The DreamerThe dreamer, a semi-retired professional, with expertise and more than 40 years of
experience in child psychology, neuropsychology, child abuse and neglect, and early childhood development and education fields. During my clinical career, I worked with thousands of young children and developed a comprehensive assessment – the Child Holistic Individualized Lifelong Development Protocol (The C.H.I.L.D. PROTOCOL™) – to be available to the public through the internet, as the base for prevention and early intervention.

Author Telma Ferraccioli Marques, MA has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in the child development (0-7) with a strong background in early childhood development and education, and special services. She has provided numerous in-house and external training per areas of expertise and is a Lifetime member of Ashoka Innovators for the Public.
Who Am I
Say Hello to Telma Ferraccioli Marques, M.A.
Despite numerous project rejections (not profitable enough; not crucial enough; just preventative), inexplicably I KEPT GOING. Every time I felt discouraged and close to giving up, I thought about the children, parents, and professionals that might benefit from this tool, and I KEPT GOING. I know it works and I did not want it to go to waste. That was my dream!
Then, I met Cleo Henderson, the most amazing unicorn web designer and mentor I ever met, and today we are launching the C.H.I.L.D. PROTOCOL™ an online platform that account holders can use, at their will, to assess a child’s development from birth to 7 years of age. When the scales are candidly completed, the system generates reliable reports of findings and recommendations that lead to professional in-depth assessments and early intervention services to prevent developmental delays.
The side effect of the realization of this dream is the C.H.I.L.D. PROTOCOL™ GUIDE & HANDBOOK SERIES©, a comprehensive collection of 9 volumes designed to empower parents and professionals with in-depth knowledge about child development. This series provides clear, research-based guidance on assessing and supporting a child’s growth from birth to age seven, helping to bridge the gap between early observations and
professional intervention. Each volume is carefully structured to align with the developmental scales used in the platform, offering detailed explanations, practical insights, and actionable recommendations to ensure that every child has the best opportunity to thrive.
To Whom,
To all children of the world, we are publishing this interactive interdisciplinary web-based tool so account holders can directly assess a child’s development. In doing so, they become aware of age-appropriate expected actions and skills. By observing a child replicating the tasks, they can infer that some are not quite developed yet. By comparing them with the findings in the report generated by the system, they position themselves ahead of holdups that may impact healthy development.
ACTING early may prevent future barriers in the developmental process.
It is imperative that the report of findings generated by this protocol be confirmed by a formal assessment conducted by a licensed professional.
